Orbi RBK 53 Set
I am thinking about buying this set for a home installation but want to check something out first.
Our house is on three levels separated by concrete flooring with built in floor heating elements. I intend to place the base station on the ground floor with the other two units on each of the other floors.
Will the signal from the base unit reach the other two units?
If so, will the units bea able to interreact to optimise the signal?
Many thanks in advance.

Re: Orbi RBK 53 Set
As mentioned above, one on each floor. Basis station on the ground, satelites on floors 1 and 2.
Units refered to are in the RBK53 package of three units.

Re: Orbi RBK 53 Set
As far as performance issues are concerned, all three units have a much higher perfomance range than our own internet connection. My question is more about the ability of the units to "correspond" with each other through a maximum of two floors.

Re: Orbi RBK 53 Set
Main computer on the first floor, otherwise iphones and ipads in use. The floor varies as it depends on the location of the person at the time.
Connection used is WLAN max. 4G.
Primarily 4k Videos and games/apps, no VOIP,
Roaming is not an issue.
Yes, we have a single SSID.

Re: Orbi RBK 53 Set
Sq footage of a house should also be considered. If your have a large house, the orbi systems are also based on how big your house is. So if you have a large sized house then two Satellites maybe needed spaced at good distances from the router however still need to be in range to maintain signel connection with the router. IF you have a small house, then maybe only one Satellite or not.
I have a 5000sq ft house two story and Orbi system is at opposite ends of the house using only 1 Satellite. Coverate, range and performance is stellar.
