Hello, I recently purchased an Orbi RBR20 WiFi mesh system with 1 satellite. Installation went smooth, I now get great coverage, compared to my previous WiFi MODEM. That said, I can no longer access the network devices (printer, file server) attached (LAN wired) to my home network, to which the Orbi RBR20 is connected too. All was working fine with the previous WiFi MODEM. Any clue as to what needs to change, for me to be able to access those devices over WiFi again? Thank you!

You should reconnect anything to the Orbi and so they are on a single network, both wireless and wired devices, so that nothing is connect to the ISP modem except the Orbi. The Orbi is replacing the router capabilities of your ISP modem/router and you will incur difficulties trying to manage devices on two separate networks and have connectivity between them.
One option is to turn off the wifi from your old ISP modem/router and setup your new Orbi's wifi with the same SSID and credentials. Most devices will reconnect automatically and not require setup.
Alternatively, leave all routing capability with your ISP modem/router and setup your Orbi in Access Point (AP) mode (instead of Router mode). Still turn off your ISP modem/router's wifi and setup Orbi's wireless as the replacement.

Do you have WIFI through the satellite and can you get to the printer server via a wired connection? If so, try forgetting the network on the wireless device and reconnecting.
Also check and/or change the network cable used to connect the printer server to the satellite.

Re: Orbi RBR20 won’t connect to home network
Hello Mickey94025,
Thank you very much for taking the time to answer! Connecting all my wired LAN devices the Orbi is not practical because of its physical location in my house, these have to go through my old ISP router. Having said that, I reconfigured the Orbi as an access point, rather than a router, and sure enough: all work just fine now! Thank you wholeheartedly, you've helped me a great deal! Cheers, Kuzi.
