Orbi RBR50 and SimpliSafe Cameras Disconnect New Firmware
The "Model" field on this forum doesn't have an Orbi RBK50 AC3000 option.
I have one RBR50 router and one RBS50 satilite.
I've owned the RBK50 since Feb. 2018 and it's worked perfectly until this morning.
They system is running in in AP mode.
My system appears to have upated to the latest 2.3.1.44 firmware.
Since this update, all 3 of my SimpliSafe security cameras will no longer connect to the wifi of my Orbi.
I've rebooted the router/satilite multiple times along with the cameras.
I've set a new wifi password on the Orbi and tried connecting with this new password.
No luck. connection continues to fail.
Everything has worked perfectly for months, and suddenly today, not one of the 3 cameras will connect to wifi.(
The cameras require a 2.4ghz wireless network which has never been a problem with my Orbi in the past.
My next step is to add an old router/ap to my setup and connect the cameras to this "older" wireless network to confirm it's a issue with the Orbi and/or new firmware.
My questions are:.
1. Is anyone else having this problem (issues with devices connecting to 2.4ghz networks?)
2. Is it possible to roll-back the firmware on the RBK50 and prevent it from auto-updating?
Thanks

Re: Orbi RBR50 and SimpliSafe Cameras Disconnect New Firmware
Try a factory reset on the system then setup from scratch. Do not load a saved configuration from file.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings. User same settings you can temporarily disable the 5Ghz SSID broadcast while you setup the 2.4Ghz cameras. If they setup again, re-enable the 5Ghz SSID broadcast.
