Orbi RBR850 wiring satellites thru switch
I have a fios modem that is connected to the RBR850. That is then connected to a switch (which is where the Ethernet cords from around the house connect, including to the two satellites). What could cause this?

Re: Orbi RBR850 wiring satellites thru switch
Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Orbi AX (WiFi 6) products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Orbi AX. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

Could you please describe the wiring in a bit more detail.
Do all those ethernet cables terminate in:
- A patch panel. then ethernet patch cords are used to connect from the patch panel to the switch? or
- into the switch itself (no patch panel)?
While there is no logical reason why connecting satellites through a switch should have any effect on the satellites, if there is a patch panel, would it be possible to bypass the switch and cable directly from the patch panel to the Orbi 805 ethernet ports?
