Orbi Router RBR50 throttled download Speed
Hey all, hope you can help because I,ve been trying to trouble shoot this for days.. I have an Orbi RBR50 router / Firmware v2.7.2.104 Connected are two PCs running windows 10 home, a laptop ...
This is SO WEIRD. If it was a laptop, I'd say, "haul it down to Starbucks and see what happens there."
There's no router in the way. (so it can't be the Orbi)
There is nothing consuming resources. (CPU, disk, network)
Connected by ethernet cable. (Is there another ethernet cable to try???)
A computer nerd test would be to connect both the laptop and the desktop to the Orbi router with ethernet cables.
Load iPerf3 on both of them.
Run a test.
When I run iPerf3 between two desktop computers connected to my Orbi (RBR50), I get over 900mbps, which maxes out the gigabit etherent connections. https://iperf.fr/iperf-download.php
Yep I tried 3 different ethernet cables. All work fine and get good speed test results. Still does not change my download speed though lol This is 2 days straight of banging my head against the wall.
