Orbi Satellite Failure

I have the RBK50 system. RBR50 is working fine, but the satellite has dropped off, LEDs won’t flash, the power light on the back is Amber, factory reset does nothing. I’m unsure what to do, I don’t seem to be able to do anything with it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Re: Orbi Satellite Failure

What FW is currently loaded?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials.

Factory reset the router using the back push pin button. Hold it in until the top led turns on AMBER then let go. Wait for the WHITE led to slowly pulsate. If you get this far, try to re-add it to the base router by pressing the black sync button on the router first then the same button on the satellite to see if it will connect. You should see a BLUE led on top of the satellite appear.

If you can't get any of this to happen on the satellite. You'll need to contact NG support. Might ask for an RMA.
