Orbi Satellite Moca Backhaul
Are the Orbis able to detect the satellites using a wired ethernet backhaul through moca? Have one room I want to add a satellite in and it only has coax, searched but did not find the exact answer to this.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Orbi Satellite Moca Backhaul
A moca adapter doesn't really care whats getting plugged into it. Same with powerline. If you have an adapter on each end they talk to each other and just pass the signals through. I've used moca and powerline as backhaul during testing with orbi. You do take a performance hit (depending on distance, line condition, interference) that can drop speeds but a lot of times it can still be better than using the wireless backhaul.
Basically it goes Orbi router---moca adapter---moca adapter---orbi satellite.
