Orbi Satellite running slow.
I have an RBR 50 router with 2 satellites RBS50's. One of the satellites is much slower and more lag than the router and satellite. If I disconect the power of the slow satellite my phone will connect to the other router or satellite and speed test show 100MB down 20MB up which is my current speed. As soon as I plug the slow satellite in speed test drops to 2-4MB. The slow satellite is in my sons room and he as his XBOX hardwired in. This is where we see the lag.
Firmware Version V2.5.0.38

Re: Orbi Satellite running slow.
You can try updating to v2.5.1.8.
Have you swapped locations with RBSs?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).
How are the RBS placed in relation to the RBR? Out in a straight line or in a star formation?

Re: Orbi Satellite running slow.
Hi Furrye38,
I updated to v2.5.1.8.
I have not swapped location yet. Good idea, i will do that.
Mfr and model# of the ISP modem ARRIS Touchstone SB6183
Cox cable is our internet service.
Home is 2900 sqft.
About 35' from RBR50 to the RBS50's setup like a wide V with the RBR at the bottom of the V.
Connection always shows good to the satellites.
I set manual ch 6 on 2.4Ghz and 44 on 5Ghz
I dont share the wifi with anyone. Is that what you mean with wifi neighbors?
Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings.......DONE
