Basements are not recommended places for wifi routers. Concrete and steel will inhibit wifi travel.
IF you have lots of neighbors near by, try turning down the power output of the RBRs wifi radios from 100% to 50% and see if this changes anything. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Yes, unchecking the box sets 40Mhz only.

changing to 40MHz only seems to help.
Reducing power caused more dropping out problems.
I wish I could individually set the poer level for each RB unit.
I know, basement is no good but it is what it is. Thats where all cable connections come in. I'm not yet up for running cables.

Ok you can change the power levels back. See if just chaning to 40Mhz only will help.
