Orbi WIFI keeps dropping out???
I have had my ORBI (base sat+2 sats) system 6 months and it ran so smooth. Now I am experiencing WIFI drops multiple times a day. My firmware is up to date. Anyone else having this problem? There is ...

Using Orbi Mesh system router RBK23 for 4 days now. Granted the setup is faster than the old mac extreme system I had throughout the house. But it continually drops signal. So much so my security cameras ar enot even picking everythng up because they continually have to reboot.
I spent 3 hours with tech support- India- they knew nothing how to help.
I can't access http://www.routerlogin.net - to change anything. The remote management on my iphone can't access. Seems like this is a ongoing problem- NET GEAR do somethng about it. Any advise from other users is appreciated. When you ditched the Orbi what did you replace it with?

I returned the Orbi I had originally purchased to Amazon, and switched to a Google system.
I have not had one problem with the Google, no dropouts, good speed abd super easy setup.
Phone compatible Wifi app- super easy to use.
Fully recommend.

What FW is currently loaded? Have you asked for the new Beta to see if that helps any? https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi/Looking-for-a-select-group-of-Orbi-Community-members-that-are/td-p/1624103/jump-to/first-unread-message
What is the Mfr and model# of the IP modem the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Try disabling the following and see:
MIMO, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).

It was working flawlessly for 6 months or so so that elminates some of the issues you asked about. I did speak with support and they had me change a few things (channels mainly). I will see how this helps. Thanks for the information
