Re: Orbi and N300
What is the actual mfr and model# of this ISP modem/router?
Modem Combo Units:
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, LAN to LAN and configure AP mode on the Orbi router.

Re: Orbi and N300
Our setup doesn't have a modem - the main equipment is the radio outside then a network cable comes into the home that will go to a power injector which is what is giving your equipment power outside. The cable from the POE will go to the Internet port in your router.

Re: Orbi and N300
Ok, so you'll need to remove the WNR2000 router from the wall outlet and replace it with the Orbi router. Connect the wall outlet to the Orbi router and use a wire connected PC and a web browser and navigate to orbilogin.com or 192.168.1.1 and walk thru the setup wizard.
