Orbi mini router RBR40

Hello community!  Looking to see if anyone had any luck adding an Orbi Mini Router RBR40 to a pre-existing network.  I had a friend recently give me the main router piece (RBR40) and tyring to hook it to my main network (RBR50v2).

 

Any luck, information, etc. would be greatly appreciated!

    This may be the biggest single disappointment of Netgear's Orbi product.  A "router" never can be attached to another Orbi system and function as a satellite.  It can be attached with an ethernet cable and function as an ordinary WiFi access point, which is not what people want to do.
