Orbi mini router has been assigned an apipa address
I just set up my Orbi mini router and now the IP address is an apipa. My service comes in to my home and connects to my Comcast modem. I then connected my Orbi to the internet port as directed. Is it supposed to be apipa?

Re: Orbi mini router has been assigned an apipa address
What FW is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
Is this address seen on the routers web page or the PC? APIPA comes from adapters or devices that can't get IP addressing from a DHCP server correctly or a LAN cable is bad or not connected fully.

Re: Orbi mini router has been assigned an apipa address
Hi @Slagman
Welcome to NETGEAR Community!
Does it affect all devices connected to the network? Were you able to complete the setup wizard when you set it up? Please try to turn off and on the affected device and check again the IP address.

Blanca
