Re: Orbi regular FTTC internet drop outs
Is the ISP modem in router mode or modem only mode?
This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
Can the ISP router be removed?
Try the Orbi in AP mode with the ISP router.

@FURRYe38 has already set you on the right track. If you need more help, tell people what this box is. There seem to be a heck of a lot of different boxes.
The ISP may also be important. Some NBN Internet service providers go out of their way to make life difficult for people. Is that Aussie Broadband?
Here's a good place to start looking for local help:

FTTC NBN box is directly connected to ORBI, no ISP Modem/Router in between.
The FTTC NBN box IS the modem.

Not without useful information.
Is there any reason why you are keeping its details a secret?
If you don't want to answer questions, then just search this community for stuff on NBN. It is a constant theme. Someone has probably been down the same road already.
Search - NETGEAR Communities – NBN FTTC box
Then there is this:

Re: Orbi regular FTTC internet drop outs
I was asked earlier to configure the ISP providers modem (Aussie Broadband). They did not provide a modem and hence I said my Oribi is connected to the FTTC box. This box has no wifi and is not configurable by me and is used by and ISP I would use.
But hey, thanks again for being sarcastic.

Re: Orbi regular FTTC internet drop outs
Do you have the ISP router that may have been provided? Might hook this up in between and use the DMZ on this router for the Orbi. Or set AP mode on the Orbi and see if this problem still happens in either configuration.

Ok, was curious, I'm used to BYOM.
Wondering, do you have a prior router by chance?
