I purchased two Orbi systems and had countless problems. Thankfully, I was able to return them to Amazon without penalty. The Zyxel Multy X that replaced Netgear’s offering has worked like a dream since last December - 30+ devices connected and it hasn’t missed a beat. Functionality is limited in the present firmware release, but at least it works as it should, unlike the two Orbis I had the misfortune to own.
These were my suggestions for improvements on the Multy X to make it the Alpha Wireless Mesh system:
