Orbi sattelite wifi disabled?
I run Orbi netowks at home. I have one router and three satellites. One of them is only necessary to feed my main cpu with a wired link. Seems the wifi-signal coming from this satellite disrupts the mesh. Is there any way to disable one satellite from delivering wifi, and only work on the two cabled patches?
Additional NG HW: 3xOrbi RBS20

Re: Orbi sattelite wifi disabled?
Short answer, no. No capability to turn off radios.
The recommended distance between sat's/routers is at least 30'. What are yours?
Have you tried reducing power?
My Equipment: Cox Cable (350Mb/35Mb), Orbi AX6000 (RBR850, 3 x RBS850) (2xWired backhaul), NG GS116PP Gigabit Smart Switch, Synology DS1019+ NAS

Re: Orbi sattelite wifi disabled?
You can use telnet to disable radio in a specific satellite. This is an option if you want to go through this!
But I also agree with @Chuck_M that you should be able to control the interference by reducing transmission power.
My Setup | Internet Fiber ONT 250↓/250↑ | ISP Telenor | Wifi Router Orbi RBR850 + RBS850 + 2x RBS750 + 3xRBS350, Wired/Wireless BH / Orbi RBR50 + 6x RBS50 + RBS40V + RBS50Y, Wired/Wireless BH | Switches NG GS208 | Time Zone CET (Sweden)
