Re: Orbi stops working
Please try the new Beta FW:
After the installation, factory reset the router and satellite then setup from scratch. Use a ethernet wired PC to do the upgrade.
If this fails to fix this, I presume you'll need to phone connect with NG support and ask about an RMA.

AH, type in RBK50 and it's there.
Thanks.

Re: Orbi stops working
Thanks for your answer! I tried to follow the steps, but the problem is on my router. I can't get it connected using an ethernet cable... I can connect to the satellite, but the problem is that I can't access http://orbilogin.com from there.
Looks like there is no way to update the firmware on my router and I will try to stop by best buy to check if I got the extended warranty from GeekSquad.
I will keep you guys posted.
Best regards,
Fabio

Re: Orbi stops working
Can you access 192.168.1.1 from directly behind the router?
Keep us posted. Hope they can help.

Re: Orbi stops working
I would contact NG support and ask about an RMA if geek squad can't help you. Something is going on with your router.

Re: Orbi stops working
Hope they can.
Good Luck.
@fcarmonabrwrote:
Thanks for your tips, I really appreciate it. I decided to get a new mesh network (EERO PRO) after hearing about all problems and returns of Orbi System. It is sad, because I just lost 370 and I was always a Netgear supporter... I will try to reach them out and see what they can do with this defective unit and if they fix it, I will probably give it to a friend of mine.

Re: Orbi stops working
What FW are you using?
Please try the new Beta FW:
After the installation, factory reset BOTH the router and satellite then setup from scratch. Use a ethernet wired PC to do the upgrade.

I have the same exact problem... and it started this morning as well. Suddenly no internet, won’t show up as WiFi network, and won’t reset. The unit continues to get stuck with a solid white ring when trying to reboot. Can’t access orbilogin.net because orbi won’t connect to internet. Also is not being recognized by laptop, so can’t manually restore firmware. I’ve spent hours this afternoon trying to troubleshoot with no success. Extremely frustrated!!
