Product Selection
I need advice on production selection for WiFi Router, preferably (if it makes sense) for the new Orbi 6. My current setup is very old and starting to fail. The setup is as follows: One Airport Extreme with an Ethernet cable into the Modem. Also, and Ethernet cable from the Airport Extreme to a TrenNedt TPL-307E extender that is plusged into the wall. This is all in one room together. There is another TrendNet in a home office not far from the room the Aiport Extreme is that is plugged into the wall and it is ethernet cabled into a D-Link Switch that is Giga-Bit POE. The D-Link Switch has a VOIP office phone connected in it and a Cloud Based external Hard Drive. Also in the house is a NetGear EX 7300 extender that is plugged into the wall in awalk out basement where there is a Smart TV to access it as well as other WiFi devices that can not get a signal from the Airport Extreme. Finally, there is an Airport Express that is hooked into a Pre-Amp and Amp in order to play iTunes and other items through the stereo system.
How can i get the right configuration from NetGear to replace all this and still have the same functionality?

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
