Put Orbi in AP mode, can no longer access it
Good evening everyone... Let me start by saying, I've been hammering away at this for a while now, and it's driving me nuts!! I have an Orbi RBK50 with a single satelite, it's a great system... Ho...

I think what most people would do is set the Orbi to AP mode, connect the yellow (WAN) port to the Edge router, and let it get an IP address from the Edge Router using DHCP.
If it is important to have control over what IP address the Orbi gets, that should be set up on the Edge router by using one of its tables to "assign" a specific IP address to the Orbi units (router, satellite). Once the Edge router assigns an IP address to the Orbi, use that address to connect to it.

This is by far and away the best way to deal with this issue, but for the sake of completeness there is another way to get at your Orbi in AP mode.
Even if you don't fix the IP address on the Orbi, you should be able to find it in the usual way, in the list of "attached devices" in your router or with something like the App for your mobile device or the "genie" for your desktop operating system.
Then aim your browser at the IP address.
