RBK 53 trying to set up Ethernet backhaul
Got the system from Costco and after a couple of days struggling to get it working and countless reading here. I got my house system up and running with faster wifi speed/coverage than before. The system is now running Orbi router as AP with 2 satellites connected via wireless backhaul. I have been trying various suggestion here on how to get backhaul to connect via ethernet.
Internet goes into the house via Arris SB6183 modem -> Asus AC-RT68U router -> Netgear Unmanaged 16-port switch GS116LP.
Orbi router and 2 satellites connect to this switch via ethernet cables.
I set a fixed IP for the Orbi router (192.168.1.2) and the 2 satellites (x.3 and x.4).
I tried to remove the ethernet cables from the satelittes, let them connect via wireless and plug the ethernet back in, etc.
Whatever I did, they still show as wireless backhaul.

Re: RBK 53 trying to set up Ethernet backhaul
Did you refresh the browser and reboot the RBR and then check the status?
Did the led turn on BLUE after connecting the ethernet cable to the satellites?
