RBK50, wont let me reply to emails from my internet provider

RBK50, wont let me reply to emails from my internet provider

I can no longer reply to emails from my internet provided which is Spectrum, they brought their modem out here, and i was able to respond to emails, but I can not with my Orbi System, i just had my computer totally analyzed, and had my internet provider out here today, and showed me with their router or modem, i can send emails, as soon as i hooked back up the Orbi system, I could not reply to any emails, please anybody that can help, please help, i am at a total loss, as I have had to forward my Spectrum emails to GMAIL just to answer a question from one of the banks or lenders I do business with.

Is it correct to assume that the problem is with the Spectrum email account, rather than with messages from Spectrum itself?

What email program is being used? (Outlook? Thunderbird? AOL? Web browser?)

Is reply the only email function that does not work?

No I can receive emails on my spectrum site, i just cant respond, I have tried 3 different browsers and they all block me from sending emails or replying to an email, yet when the put their modem on my computer, i was able to reply, its somewhere there is a block in the port of Orbi according to all of the IT people I have talked to and Charter Spectrum as I noted spent 4 hours here today, and the only trick that worked was using their equipment and I was able to send an email from my spectrum email, thanks for the reply

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

 

Is Armor or Circle enabled on the RBR by chance? Normally Orbi does not block any kind of email, local or web based.

I am not sure of the firmware, but the maket and model of the modem is Arris TM1602

No those 2 are not loaded, and as I noted when the brought out their router or modem, shoot I dont know what I am talking about anymore, i was able to respond, so if its not in the computer, and not in their router or modem, and when I hook up the orbi back, I can no lenger reply or send emails. As I noted we changed out all equipment and its not their equipment theirs works, its only when I hooked the orbi back up i could no longer send emails again.

Also if this helps, when i disable wifi on my phone i can respond to emails with my ISP. Is that not the craziest thing, I am sorry I cant answer all your questions, i am not computer literate

Was everything working previously? (This is a new problem?) or is this the first time the Spectrum email account has been used?

Are there any other web browsing issues? (i.e. the only problem is with the Spectrum email site?)

This is a new problem started last week, everything was working fine, now everything I try to respond or send it won't send, but I can still receive no problems

Have you done a lot to customize the Orbi?

(assigning IP's to specific devices, putting in names for devices, setting the DHCP range, custom DNS servers, Open VPN?)

If not, a Factory Reset is about all I can think of.

 

Do you happen to know if the Orbi firmware was updated about the time this problem began?

Is it convenient to attach a screen shot of any error message that pops up when you attempt to send or reply?

(use the "Browse" button at the bottom left of the edit panel.  that Photos icon in the menu bar at the top puts images in-line and they have to be approved by a forum moderator before anyone can see them.)

I didn't ever see what you were using for a client. 

You're using a web brower but are you logging into spectrum client, are you using outlook, what exactly are you using? 
Sorry, I don't have spectrum so can't see exactly what you're doing.
