RBK50
Want to change location on the router to center of basement since it dont cover the space that we are in. But tried different cords but only works to the fiber modem with the original cord. Is there any longer cords to buy that works between the router and fibermodem?
The satellites are one on each of the other floors in the center off the house and covers their respective floors well. But in basement the modem is in a concreteroom in the corner so with original cord I have to have the router there but walls makes the signal to weak to cover the basement.

Re: RBK50
Maybe you have a bad ethernet cord.
I'd try a different one. Make sure its at least cat 5E or greater.

Re: RBK50
Basements are not good places for wifi routers. Main floor or 2nd floor levels are recommended.
Be sure you are using godo quality cables. CAT6 is recommended. Don't mixed older CAT versions with newer CAT version cables. Keep to one CAT version thruout.

Re: RBK50
So it should work with a ”normal” ethernet cable? Did only had one 6 meters at home but didnt work between router and modem. Maybe try to open a new one and try again.
Thought it was a special cable(flat one) when it didnt work with ”normal” one.

Yes. If the LAN cable is of good quality and is a good cable, then yes. CAT6 is recommended.
