RBK53 chatty satellite
All:
I have a chatty satellite who is constantly trying to initiate ftp from several sites, apprently looking to dl something undesirable, and it appears I am going to need to do a clean install of the firmware in hopes of getting rid of it
Question is, how?
Anyone?
PS: attempted prot 6, port 21 to: 52.208.82.166, 34.243.216.129, & 34.241.19.122 approx 300 times in 12 hrs
How do I shake this?

Re: RBK53 chatty satellite
It is rather unlikely that an Orbi satellite is attempting to download files from anywhere but Netgear's firmware site.
However, it is easy to reset the satellite to factory.
Stick the end of a paperclip into the tiny Reset hole next to the power cord until the Power LED turns amber and begins to blink.
This will reset the satellite and you can then sync it to the router again.

Re: RBK53 chatty satellite
To test this, I would turn OFF the RBSs for a while. See if logs still report something.
