RBR 40 Issues with green ring
I have had the Orbi RBR system for 2 1/2 years and it just fell off my network. I could get nowhere with it and had a buddy mess it. After multiped it.le attempts of loading firmware, it finally accepted it. I connected it back and it worked for two days. Now when I restart it - pulsing white ring, then eventually a solid green ring light. What does a green light mean? (On the top, not by the power button.)
I can't connect to it by ethernet or wireless now. Reset doesn't help.
btw AT&T U-verse if that matters

Re: RBR 40 Issues with green ring
Regarding your modem:

This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
Disconnect the RBR from the modem and press the reset button in back for 15 seconds then release. Wire connect 1 PC to the back of the RBR and See if you can access the setup page at 192.168.1.1 using a web browser.

Thank you for the reply.
I can not connect to it with a wire. I have pressed the reset button and held for a minute. I cannot connect with a wire whether or not it is connected to my modem.

Re: RBR 40 Issues with green ring
You'll need to contact NG support and ask for help and information regarding this. RMA if thats an option.
Good Luck.
