RBR 50 WAN Port Stuck at 100M Speed
I can't seem to get the WAN port on my RBR50 Router up to 1000M speed, all of the non WAN ports are at the speed. Yes the device i am connecting to it supports 1000M ethernet link.
Any suggestions appreciated.

What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem your using with the Orbi?

Re: RBR 50 WAN Port Stuck at 100M Speed
Can you confirm that the cable modem can auto-negotiate to 1000 Full with another device, say your laptop at this moment in time?
If it does correctly negotiate 1000 Full, then there may be an auto-negotiate issue with the Orbi. I wish there was a way to hard set the ports which would be great in troubleshooting issues like this.

Re: RBR 50 WAN Port Stuck at 100M Speed
For others who may see this same problem, I had the same symptom. Looking at the WAN statistics, the WAN port was 100M. I had reused the same cable hooked up to my prior router. I switched to the cable that came with the Orbi, and then I was set to 1000M. My download speed for the router went from about 98 to 591 Mbps. This may not be the solution for everyone with this problem, but it worked for me, so thought I would share it. The cable I was using is marked CAT 5, the Orbi supplied cable is marked CAT 5.E.

CAt5E or CAT6 cableing is recommended. You can use good quality cabling from online cable supplyer sites like deepsurplus and monoprice.

Re: RBR 50 WAN Port Stuck at 100M Speed
Thought I would check my Orbi port settings, and realize I do not know where to find that neat table of ports/WiFi bands. Web interface? NetGear Genie? Sorry to be a bother.

Mine was the cable also but the Orbi included 5e cable was connected. Must have gone bad? I replaced with another cat5e and finally a cat6. Problem solved - back to my 477Mbps download speed

Sometimes in box cables are not the best. Something new from a reputable cable company is recommended.
Thanks for letting us know.

Re: RBR 50 WAN Port Stuck at 100M Speed
Just purchased and set up my RBR50 and was using the old cable as well. Switching to the cable provided with the Orbi worked!
