RBR50 Firmware v 2.7.4.24 router has to be reset once a week
I've seen some previous posts from last year with no fix and nothing more recent. I'm having an issue where I have to reset the router once a week or anything on wireless keeps dropping internet ...
Since it's Google ISP it uses 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 by default.
If it happens again after making the suggested changes I will do the observation suggested as well as try running some ping tests.
I will also verify with my brother who all his devices work solely off the satellite has the same issues with his Android based devices.
I had to finally restart again today. I thought maybe it was solved but even my brother was noting that he was having issues with devices that were connected to the satellite. He mentioned that his work laptop was having issues as well and that's a Windows machine. My phone kept switching between my actual wifi SSID and the SSID for Orbi and my Chromecast said it was connected but could not get out to the internet.
I did check and there was no purple light on the hub or the satellite. I forgot to run a ping from my phone though.
My brother said for him that it wasn't that the internet was out it was just that the wireless and things connected to the satellite were very inconsistent which is the same thing I was seeing on the router.
