RBR50/RBR22 Satellite Question

I have the RBR50/RBS50 system. I would like to add a satellite and I'm interested in the RBK22 package (RBR20/RBS20) at Costco.
I checked this community and it appears that the RBS20 can be used as a satellite with the RBR50. My question is whether the RBR20 can also be used as a satellite with the RBR50.

Sorry, but NO. The way Netgear designed the Orbi product line, a router can "only be a router", NEVER a satellite. This has frustrated many (many) customers.

Yes, I can imagine that this would have annoyed a lot of users. It probably cost some sales, as well.
