You could also look at alternative firmware. There are options out there that people really like. I might consider it in the future.

Re: RBR50/RBS50 Firmware 2.5.1.16 Update
I also have not had any issues with v16 FW.
Users should try a factory reset and setup from scratch to see if the problem continues.
There is also newer FW out as well that users can try:
You can try Voxels FW for Orbi:

https://www.snbforums.com/threads/custom-firmware-build-for-orbi-a-la-faq.65224/
You can revert back to stock FW if it doesn't work out for you.

I am considering throwing my $600 Netgear WIFI in the trash and starting over. I work from home and can not tolerate this level of service.

Why not revert back to the old firmware?

Re: RBR50/RBS50 Firmware 2.5.1.16 Update
Update working for me. Strange issue is the Satellites no longer can determine the attached devices names. They only show IP and MAC addresses of attached devices, yet the router knows and displays them. The satellites displayed the device names before the update.
Still annoying that attached devices can be sorted when being displayed. Seems a simple programming task to be able to sort the list...

Re: RBR50/RBS50 Firmware 2.5.1.16 Update
Something to contact NG support about and let them know. Seems like they keep fixing this, then it break again after another update or two.
I wonder if v4 or v70 have fix the device naming issue yet.

I believe you meant to say "They do NOT care about end users". Their customer support is the absolute worst in the industry. I suggest everyone file their complaint with the Better Business Bureau, my complaint is filed with the BBB and is still pending NG's response.

Tried that
Filled with the Californian and Ohio AG office, Netgear would not respond
They really are a bunch of narcistic self centered arrogant obnoxious individuals
