RBR50/RBS50 Issues with Nest Cameras
I have 2 Nest Outdoor cameras that were running without problems for months, only occasionally one of them dropping offline. I'm not sure if a new firmware was pushed out recently but both cameras have been dropping off the network several times a day with times exceeding 10 minutes.
The router and the satellite are on V2.2.1.210 (https://kb.netgear.com/000060273/RBR50-RBS50-Firmware-Version-2-2-1-210) and I have Beamforming, MU-MIMO, and Fast Roaming disabled. I have rebooted the router and cameras with no improvement.
I'm tempted to downgrade the firmware to see if there's an improvement but looks like the previous firmware listed on the site is V2.1.4.16 (https://kb.netgear.com/000059432/RBR50-RBS50-Firmware-Version-2-1-4-16) but I've seen a version on the forums listed as V2.2.1.18 (https://kb.netgear.com/000053549/RBR50-RBS50-Firmware-Version-2-1-2-18) which might have been the latest. Are there any settings that I can tweak to fix this issue? Should I downgrade to V2.2.1.18?
Thanks in advance!

Re: RBR50/RBS50 Issues with Nest Cameras
pongolo:
The previous version of firmware released for the RBR50/RBS50 was 2.1.4.16. I don't know where you saw that release 2.1.2.18 was the latest version of firmware for the RBR50/RBS50. The last I looked, 2.1.4.16 and 2.2.1.210 were the only firmware versions available for download on Netgear. If you feel that downgrading is the best bet for you, go ahead and downgrade to 2.1.4.16.
If you do that, be careful. Automatic updating to 2.2.1.210 may occur for you.

Re: RBR50/RBS50 Issues with Nest Cameras
f you updated to recent FW v.210, try enabling Daisy Chain. Some have mentioned that this seems to be working in reverse order, enabling means disabled actually. Hoping NG support can have a look at this. So try this out as well.
