RBR50 V2.7.4.24 that I am unable to clear Security Options (WPA2-PSK) password.

I have reset the router using the pin hole and electronic reset using the interface.  I have the password that I used to log into the admin side of my Orbi that keeps returning to the Security Option...

Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.

Try option #2 first. 

Reason why the Orbi is changing to a different IP network on it self to avoid what the ISP modem is already using.

    Thank you, I will try doing the option 2.  ATT is calling it IP Passthrough tomorrow.  Would you suggest resetting the Orbi again after completing the change since the password is still incorrect?  And this would let it stay in the 192.168.1.1  address.

    Can try that. I would reset and setup the RBR with it NOT connected to the ISP modem. After you set it up, change the LAN IP address from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.0.1, then this will avoid any conflicts with the ISP Modem as it seems to be using .1.1 as well.

    I made all the recommended changes for option 2 and used the 192.168.0.1 and everything is working great now, and the password stopped changing.  Thank you for your help.  Any additional suggestions.

     

    1.Implicit Beamforming, MU-MIMO, and WMM activated. 

    2.Daisy Chain - Active since I have floors all satellites up from each other and not spoked.

    3.Fast Roaming off.

    4. Armor on

    5. IPv6 on DHCP and supported by ISP

    6.Enabled 20/40 Mhz Coexisting

    7.Using channel 6 for 2.4 and channel 36 for 5

    8. Guest Network -off

    9.Remote Management on

    10.Static IP Addresses for every device and satellites.
