Our iPhones are reporting a Privacy Warning with our Orbi Mesh WiFi network.

The message on the iPhone is:

Privacy Warning

This network  is blocking encrypted DNS traffic.

The names of the websites and other servers your device accesses on this network may be monitored and recorded by other devices on this network. 

Does the Orbi Mesh network support encrypted DNS traffic?

How can this Privacy Warning be resolved?

apple is great at sending people warnings when they're not on the "latest" technology. 

I haven't ran into the issue because I don't use apple products but you can try using a different dns server. 

Try googles at 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4

Or cloudfare's at 1.1.1.1

I particularly enjoyed the idea that using the regular unencrypted DNS would allow:

This means that other devices on the same network might track your browsing activity.

(updating router firmware will not accomplish anything on the Orbi platform.)

This is mostly a Apple issue. Since Apple implemented this Wifi Privacy Address feature, this seems to be the main cause of it. 
It's recommended, if your not travelling afar from home, disable this feature on your Apple devices as the random chaning of the devices MAC addresss really isn't needed while your at home or local work environment. IF you are travelling, then of course, have this feature enabled.

Something that Apple should be asked about since this is there feature they came up with.
