RBR50 crashing
My RBR50 has been crashing intermittently for about 6-7 months now. Sometimes it can go weeks without crashing but then will have times where it'll crash a couple of times in 1 week. What I mean by crashing is that the Wifi goes completely down. I can't access the router settings at all. Ethernet doesn't work either. I have to turn off and turn back on the router for it to start working again. It's not related to by internet provider's equipment as I've actually changed providers recently and still does it. I've got 2 satellites with my system and I do not have to reset them.
Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this, or steps that I should take?
Also, has Netgear stopped supporting the older Orbi systems as there hasn't been a firmware update since August. I'm on the last version V2.7.3.22.

Re: RBR50 crashing
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Is Armor, Circle or Traffic Meter enabled?

Try this version of FW?

Re: RBR50 crashing
Thanks for the suggestions:
Have about 3800 sqft. My satellites are on different floors from the main router and are more than 30 ft apart.
I do have traffic meter turned on. Amor and Circle are not turned on.
I'm currently with ATT Fiber using the Arris BGW210-700. I just changed from Spectrum Cable Internet to ATT 3 weeks ago. I had the same issues with Spectrum. I was hoping that maybe something with Spectrum was crashing my Orbi, but now it appears it's just the Orbi.
I've turned off the traffic meter and have changed the settings on the other link. If it crashes again, I'll try the v2.7.3.23. Wonder why they never released this version officially?

Re: RBR50 crashing
Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
Try option #2 first...

Re: RBR50 crashing
Already did option 2 with IP Passthrough. I had researched this well in advance before getting fiber installed. Shockingly, the ATT Fiber installer knew that this is what I had to do as well to get my own router working.

Might give #3 a try as well to see if the RBR still crashes...
