At this web page;
https://www.netgear.com/support/product/RBR50.aspx#download
It lists version 2.0.1.4 as the current version and lists 2.1.2.18 as a previous version. My router currently has 2.1.2.18 installed. When I go to install 2.0.1.4 the router advises that I am downgrading the firmware.
Which is current?
Thanks!

They pulled 2.1.2.18 from general distribution due to issues. 2.0.1.4 is their advertised best at this time. You can stay on 2.1.2 or do the downgrade, depending on whether you're happy or not where you're at. Read the release notes in the zipfiles.

Re: RBR50 current firmware?
ahhh thanks mate - I didnt understand what the MR meant and assumed it was for some model not relevent to me. 2.1 seems legit to me - some drop offs but definitely not going back to the cavemen days of no ethernet backhaul.
Cheers!
