RBR50v2 / RBS50 Highly unstable with latest v2.5.2.4 firmware.
RBR50V2 and RBS50
System is highly unstable with firmware 2.5.2.4 - which is the latest for mass update.
Router stops working ( goes offline) at random times of the day.
Satallites stop working randomly. ( they are on just not working)
Router gets very confused - instead of showing just 2 satallites, it shows 100s of satallites in the firmware page.
Only solution is to factory reset every week and reconfigure. Tried this for multiple weeks.
Anyone else see this poor behavior ? Setup is unremarkable - a single SSID with password. No fancy setup. any suggestions for soltuion ?
Getting ready to throw this out....cannot spend that much time fiddling with this...

You can update to v40:
If your in the US region, you can update to v2.7 version:
I would factory reset and setup from scratch after you load either one of these versions. Update the RBS first then RBR lastly.

if you're certain 2.5.2.4 is not working for you, you may want to revert back to the previous stable version

Re: RBR50v2 / RBS50 Highly unstable with latest v2.5.2.4 firmware.
I updates manually to V2.7.2.102.
Both the satallites and router are still unstable. the router just stops working. Need to power cycle. I will try a factory reset as suggested.

Re: RBR50v2 / RBS50 Highly unstable with latest v2.5.2.4 firmware.
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
