RBS20 without an ORBI router

Hello ! 

I just got an ORBI RBS20 satellite, i already have a router with Wi-Fi (Tp-Link TD-W8961N), and i'm having trouble setting it up and i've read that you need an ORBI router to sync it, i wanted to know if and how i can sync it with my router, or at least can i use it as a acces point or a repeater without the advanced functionalities.

Orbi satellites work with Orbi routers.

End of story.

Your best bet is to return the RBS20 and buy a standalone wifi extender.
