RBS50 v1 stuck at 2.5.0.38, can't upgrade to 2.5.1.8
My home wifi network contains the following:
RBR50 v1 at 2.5.1.8
RBS50 v1 at 2.5.0.38
RBS50 v2 at 2.5.1.8
Try as I might I can't get the RBS50 v1 to upgrade to 2.5.1.8. I've tried manual firmware update using the image file by logging in directly to the satellite web IP on the satellite's IP address, it shows that the upgrade is being done and asks to wait while the RBS50 reboots, but after reboot the firmware is still at the old version.
When I tried this method with the RBS50 v2 I have, it worked fine.
Can anyone shed any light on how to get the RBS50 v1 I have to upgrade to 2.5.1.8 so all the devices are running on the same firmware version?
Thank you.

Re: RBS50 v1 stuck at 2.5.0.38, can't upgrade to 2.5.1.8
Try this, factory reset the 1 RBS and connect a wired PC to the back of the RBS that has the v2.5.1.8 file on it. Don't sync the RBS. Wait about 5 minutes and you should be able to use a web broswer like IE11 or Firefox and log into the RBSs web page at 192.168.1.250. Log in will be admin and PW is password. Use the RBSs web page to send the FW update file. The file should take.
Disconect from the RBS and reconnect to the RBR, you might remove the RBS from the RBRs connected clients page, then go for re-sync

Re: RBS50 v1 stuck at 2.5.0.38, can't upgrade to 2.5.1.8
This didn't work. I'm still stuck at 2.5.0.38
I tried to hard reset my satellite by holding down reset until the orange lights on power/LED started to flash but this didn't work. When I reset the router it had un-synced but still had my old settings intact and I had to log into the router interface on 192.168.1.250 using my old password.
How can I force it to reset so that it really forgets everything?
I tried to update using TFTP but I wasn't successful, though I might have been doing that wrong.
Any ideas please?
