RBS50Y discontinued
It seems Netgear has discontinued its outdoor Orbi satellites. Does anyone know of a replacment that will work with the ORBI system?

Re: RBS50Y discontinued
I don't know of any currently being released. The secondary market might be your best bet.
I've also seen others use weatherproof containers (with proper venting) and simply use a standard satellite. In certain instances, it was actually better than the rbs50y's weatherproofing

Re: RBS50Y discontinued
By "Others" do you mean companies that make an outdoor satellite that works with ORBI?

Re: RBS50Y discontinued
Netgear only released one Orbi device rated for outdoor use (RBS50Y) and it will operate as an Orbi satellite only with the original 802.11ac Orbi products. (not any of the AX or Pro models).
Since the only way it can be connected to something besides the original 802.11ac product is as a WiFi Extender (not as a satellite), then any WiFi Extender from any company will do the same thing - "extend". Many companies make WiFi access points rated for outdoor use.

Re: RBS50Y discontinued
It doesn't integrate with orbi but there is t he WAX610Y that's outdoor rated. You'd need to hardwire it in.
