RBS50Y to existing network
Looking to add RBS50Y outside to existing network.
Question is what is difference of setup between extender mode or setup as just a satellite?
Curious how should set this up?

Re: RBS50Y to existing network
This will be outside and not exposed to elements. Will be under cover but outside.

Re: RBS50Y to existing network
In satellite mode, the RBS50Y will act exactly like the other satellites in the network. This is the preferred mode when you connect the RBS50Y in an Orbi network.
The Extender mode can be used with any other wifi router as an outdoor extender of the wifi network.
I have an RBS50Y, you don't need to cover it. It's made to be an outdoor satellite. Setup of the RBS50Y is very simple and straight forward.
