Greetings, I am trying remove the included "bitdefender" software that comes on my router as it constantly sets off false negatives including blocking useful sites. I have already tried to remove it via the app with no luck. Some posts say to look for a switch and I have been able to find no such thing.

I feel obligated to point out that there is a community forum devoted entirely to "Armor". If the question is posted in that forum, someone may know a lot more about Armor than those of us (in this forum) who have never even activated it.

That said, my understanding is that there are only two methods of removing Bitdefender Armor:
- On the Orbi "app" click on the "Security" icon and look for a method to disable Armor, or
- Perform a Factory Reset on the Orbi and when you set it up again, say, "No Thanks" (or in my case "in a pig's eye") when it wants you to activate it.

Since the "app method" appears not to work for you, I fear you are stuck with a factory reset.
(Or, try posting in the Armor forum)
