Hi
Currently I have my RBR850 wifi 6 set up as a router.
internet ->Modem -> RBR850-> switch
I would like to use another router and I know there is an option in
backend browser to change to AP mode.
But can I know what the best sequence to do this would be?
1. do the backend change to Ap mode first, and then do the physical reconnection.
2. rewire first and then do the change to AP mode.
thanks!

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Orbi AX product. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Orbi AX and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this "general Orbi" forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Thank you.

#2. If the Orbi is changed to AP mode and there is no router in front of it to provide a DHCP server, then the network cannot function.
Unplug the Orbi. Install the new router. Connect the Orbi. Then, change the Orbi to AP mode.
