Setup: There is NO ORBI WIFI option in Settings > Wifi
Trying to set up for the first time. I have internet connection and wifi connection. Using the Orbi app, setup instructions say to "Connect to the Orbi Wifi Network" but when I go to Settings > Wifi there is no Orbi Network. Only the wifi network that I am using.
Also get "Orbi Not Found"
Local Network IS enabled.
I have a brand new modem that has wifi and it is all set up so maybe I don't need the Orbi system. Or maybe that is the issue.

You wont have Settings in the Orbi app. If you want more advanced settings, you need to log in to the RBRs web page using a web browser.

You have 2 WiFi's going: from your modem and from the Orbi. Thats a no-no. You should disable the wifi on the modem.
Which modem are you using? It may have a router in the modem as well. That will result in 2 routers (or as it is called here: "double NAT"). That can lead to problems as well. But there are workarounds (like setting the Orbi into "Access Point" mode).
Do you have a ethernet-connected (with a wire) PC or laptop that you can plug into the back of the Orbi? That is a good reliable way of setting up the Orbi.
Post the name of ISP, the modem, the firmware version of the Orbi.

Very strange. Could you please describe what sort of device the Orbi "app" is running on?
What is supposed to happen with a brand new Orbi is that it will create a WiFi network with the SSID/password that is printed on the product label. It does not matter how many other WiFi networks are available, another WiFi network will simply appear.
If the Orbi is "not new" (perhaps returned to Amazon or Best Buy), it may have been set up already and given a different WiFi name. When it is powered on, a new network will appear that was not present before, but it will not be "ORBI##"
The solution in this case is to Factory Reset the router:

Re: Setup: There is NO ORBI WIFI option in Settings > Wifi
I had the "Orbi Not Found" issue where it said to ensure that "Local Network" is enabled. I followed all of the steps in this thread, and while some seemed to help, it still never worked with my iOS 14.5 iPhone. The only thing that solved it for me was to use a web browser, connect to the wifi network on the Orbi, and go to the Safari web browser app on the phone and go to http://orbilogin.com
Using the web browser instead of the app solved all of myi ssues and it was really easy. That was after spending 3 hours troubleshooting the app and reseting devices, deleting Nighhawk app, etc.
If you have this issue, just use the web browser! Easy fix.

Re: Setup: There is NO ORBI WIFI option in Settings > Wifi
Agreed. Once the system is setup using a web browser, if the Orbi app doesn't work, should get your system setup and working. Once thats done, then Orbi app should connect and can be used to check on things.
