Sky mesh Orbi mesh incompatibility
Hi I have sky mesh system on my sky q box. But can’t get range for another sky mini box as both mesh systems interfere I also have satellite orbi next to sky mini box. Can I connect a ordinary non mesh net gear satellite WiFi booster to my orbi satellite so my sky box can connect via this. Then the mesh systems should not interfere. Ta

Re: Sky mesh Orbi mesh incompatibility
There are a few things to try here. I would change the Orbi 5ghz channel to use a higher channel to move it away from the Sky mesh network. You could also plug the Sky Q mini box into an ethernet port on the Orbi Sattellite if they are so close and not need to use the Sky mesh at all.
We have our main Sky Q box plugged into an Orbi Sattellite via ethernet but the two Sky Q Mini boxes use the Sky Mesh network to connect back to the main Sky Q box.
