Slow LAN Speed
I just recently installed the RBK50 for my home internet. When I plug directly into the router and run a speed test on my computer, I average between 300-500MBps. When I unplug the Orbi router from my modem and plug my computer directly into the modem, I average between 900-950MBps. I am on the latest firmware on the router and everythig works better than expected other than the troughput. Is there some setting to allow full service throught the LAN ports?

Re: Slow LAN Speed
What FW is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
Try a reset on the Orbi router and this time, don't enable QoS, Traffic Meter or Access Controls.
Has nothing to to with LAN port speeds.

Re: Slow LAN Speed
The Orbi is connected to my Ubiquiti edge router which is connected to my Arris SB8200 cable modem. The port on the router it is connected to has no blocking service on it and was previously used by my R8500. With the nighthawk, I was only able to get consistent speeds of around 900-925Mbps. With the Orbi, it is exteremly rare to see speeds above 400Mbps.
Currently, the Orbi router is setup with no traffic metering or even QoS and the FW is version 2.2.1.210. I updated the FW to try and fix all the random internet drops throughout the day.

Re: Slow LAN Speed
Is the Orbi system operating in Router or AP mode? If router mode, try AP mode:

Re: Slow LAN Speed
Same issue here, My ISP provides 1 Gbps down/up.
When connected directly (wired) to the ISP router I get ~800-1000 Mbps
When connected to the Orbi's LAN I get ~500mbs download and 934mbps upload.
Same results in the internet speed in Orbi android app.
Tried both: Router and AP modes. Same results.
*Firmware version: v2.2.1.210
Any updates about this slow LAN performance issue?
Thanks

Does your ISP use PPPoE or DHCP for there services to your modem?
There is more recent FW that you can try:
If you do, upate the Satellites directly to v32 first, then, update the RBR to v212 first, then apply v32. v212 is required before v32 can be applied on the RBR.

Enjoy.

I changed cables and tried to use another laptop and I started to get ~800-1000 Mbps on download.
Not sure what's going on with the internet speeds in the android app.
So, my issues resolved for now.
Thanks for the quick response @FURRYe38
