Stuck with extra RBR20 won't work as Satellite

I picked up an Orbi to augment my Apple network last week. Turns out you can't extend networks across brands.So I decided to go all Orbi and picked up more Netgear equipment, the BRBK22. Now I find out that the RBR20 won't work as a sattelite (oh god why?). Is there a way to trade in my RBR20 for a sattelite? Anyone out there want to trade?

RBRs only work as the main base router or in AP mode. No support for satellite mode.
