Trying to backhaul Orbi Router

Hi everyone,

I am hoping to get some help. I have the Orbi Wifi6E Route with 2 Satelites setup. I have one next to my Virgin Modem (Hub5), one in my office (13m away in the garden) and 1 upstairs. I have a 1 gig line but I am achieveing around 60Mps (in my office) which is very poor. So I have laid some Cat 6 cable (Shielded) from the router through my garden to my office. I have connected them both to the grey ethernet connection on the back of the router and one in the satelite in my office. They are running in AP mode and I was expecting a faster connection as I am now not relying on wifi between the office and router as they are connected via the ethernet cable. The Satelite upstairs is still wireless as there is great signal. Is there something I physically have to do in the confiugration for it it pick up the cable ? I have checked the cable itself and it is all fine. It is definitely getting signal from the router, but I am flummxed as to why there is no increase in performance.

Is that the RBRE950/RBSE950?

How is all this configured?

Both the Orbi and the Virgin hub are routers. That's a recipe for chaos.

What is running in AP mode? The Orbi router? (Satellites don't do AP mode.)

Did you check the bit in the manual Set up your satellite with a wired connection to your router?
