Unable to install Orbi
Just bought Orbi Ultra Performance Mesh WiFI System - AX6000 - 2 pack - RBK 852.
Followed the installation directions.
Unable to connect to network.
I use AT&T fiber. I have a Sonos system in my home. Are those causing an issue?
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Unable to install Orbi
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Use a wired PC and web browser connected to the RBR and walk thru the setup wizard at orbilogin.com or 192.168.1.1. You may need to factory reset the RBR and start over with the PC and web browser...

Re: Unable to install Orbi
Looks like the modem is ATT - does not have another mfr name and model number.
How do I check the firmware?
Router is also a ATT BGW210.
What is RBR you are referring to?
Sorry, I'm not a super tech person at all. But I can usually find my way through things.
I'm using a MacBook Pro and don't have the correct cord to wire direct into modem or router.
Appreciate the quick response!

Re: Unable to install Orbi
Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop

RBR = The Orbi router unit. RBS = Satellite units.
There are inexspensive USB C to ethernet adapters available.

Re: Unable to install Orbi
Thanks.
Have decided to return it and go with another brand.
If I had known the installation would be that complicated, I wouldn't have bought it.
Appreciate your time.
