Need help...
been using RBR50 with one RBS50 for a long time without problems.
Always been able to login to ORBI settings with my router IP address at:
https://192.168.2.1/adv_index.htm
Today a new satellite arrived, tried to add it with the iPhone app... it failed... nothiong to worry about.
After that point, I tried to access ORBI settings from my desktop PC like I've always done, it asks for credentials, I provide the credentials and it just keeps asking for them over and over... and does not enter the settings page.
I can still login with the ORBI iphone app... but with a browser on the PC it's not happening 😞
What could it be?
Tried a different browser, same problem.

Now added the new satellite.
Updating firmware to latest (like the Router and Sat-1).
So the main problem here seems to be that when I used the app to add a new satellite, the password somehow became invalid. Is that possible?
However... it does seem like I could just go on the web interface and change the password to the old one, because the web interface does not say anything about not being able to use those specific special characters/symbols.
Weird... just lost me an hour of my work time 😞

Re: Unable to login to Orbi RBR50 after trying to add new satellite...
When I try to change the password using the iPhone App... it seems like my current password is no longer supported? Did the allowed symbols change????
This seems to be an issue with the password...
I can login with the iPhone App because it is using the Face ID feature.
But apparently my old password no longer works and it's not even a valid password anymore, now that's weird!

Re: Unable to login to Orbi RBR50 after trying to add new satellite...
Try 192.168.2.1 or orbilogin.net
Default for NG routers is 192.168.1.1 unless you changed it.
Try a different browser?

Yes the IP network was changed (and still is, everything is working normally except I can't login)

Re: Unable to login to Orbi RBR50 after trying to add new satellite...
Update:
been able to change passwword using onscreen instructions at the PC (router serial number, securtity questions and so on).
New password is now 100% compliant. (after removing the "now" invalid symbols, still mesmerized by that one)
Still unable to login to router settings on any browser using a wired PC.
I can login fine using iPhone ORBI app.

Re: Unable to login to Orbi RBR50 after trying to add new satellite...
Update:
now able to login again... with "admin" not "Admin"...
Why did this change with an attempt to add a new satellite?
Anyway... was forced to change password using the app which forced me to remove special characters in use (using the web interface those same characters are valid!)

Re: Unable to login to Orbi RBR50 after trying to add new satellite...
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
Ya the web page login shouldn't change.
Default is admin not Admin. I recommend not using any special characters for the RBRs log in page. If your the only one with access to the RBR, then general alpha and numbers are only needed.

Re: Unable to login to Orbi RBR50 after trying to add new satellite...
And instead of using the Orbi app, you can just press the sync button on the RBS then the RBR and they will sync as well.
Ya. the RBRs web page log in shouldn't be effected.
