They won’t update via the browser connected via WiFi and read on the community I need to manually upgrade to v2.2.1.212 first before trying the latest version.
Tried this but connected via WiFi and not wired and it failed with an incorrect file message.
Support would only say ‘wired is much preferable’
I need to find a wired laptop because I am on a Mac with USB C ports only
So....is my approach right and it is just matter of upgrading manually via the browser via a wired connection to v2.2.1.212?
Thanks in advance...

Re: Upgrading from V1.4.0.18
Review this:
For Macs with out a LAN port, you can find and connect a USB to LAN adapter that can help add wired LAN support to those PCs.

Re: Upgrading from V1.4.0.18
Okay I need some help pls...
I am connected via ethernet to the RBS50 satellite, I am on FW V1.4.0.18
According to the tips and tricks if on a V1 FW I should be going to RBS50-V2.0.0.74
Downloaded and uploaded that but get a "This firmware file is incorrect!" error.
What am I doing wrong?

Re: Upgrading from V1.4.0.18
What browser are you using? Safari? Try FireFox.
Be sure you have the right RBS50 FW .img file.
Try a factory reset on the RBS, wait for the connection to be ready, then try to send the img file. I was able to do this on a Windows PC.
Do any of these work?
RBS50 (Orbi Satellite) Firmware Version 1.10.1.2
RBS50 (Orbi Satellite) Firmware Version 1.9.1.12
RBS50 (Orbi Satellite) Firmware Version 1.8.0.6
RBS50 (Orbi Satellite) Firmware Version 1.5.0.12
RBS50 (Orbi Satellite) Firmware Version 1.4.0.34
