Using mac adress filtering in WIFI AP mode
Hi,
I just installed the ORBI50 system to my network. As I use an untangle firewill/router, I need the Orbi to act as an access point.
I installed the system as access point and that seems to work.
For security I wanted to use mac adress filtering as I did in my previous setup (on topo of a WPA password obviously).
However I can't find the setting to do this anywhere in AP mode?
Can someone help me out with this please?
Thanks,
David

Re: Using mac adress filtering in WIFI AP mode
Hello DaveMoi
You would have to use your main router for those settings when orbi is in AP.

Is Netgear really not going to support wireless MAC filtering? I find this to be another way to prevent unauthorized access to one's network.
