What happens to system speed when a second satellite is added?
The extra standalone Orbi satellite is supposed to be available on Amazon on 11/21 .
Does anyone have insight on how a second satellite added to the existing Orbi router + satellite setup will impact performance, if at all? Will it halve it like an extender?
Thanks.

the simple answer is no , as the orbi isnt mesh based as such and both sats connect to the router
the 1733M backbone is rwice as much as any one sat can do , eg the orbi system is 867M on 5 gig and 400M on 2.4 gig that is usable by the clients
the orbi system atm runs like this
sat ---- router ----- sat
the orbi system atm does not do
router ---- sat ----- sat

I have 3 total and have noticed no speed reductions
